Pressure Mounts On Haqqani Network And ISI Agency

BMI View: Recent developments in Afghanistan, such as the assassination of former president Burhanuddin Rabbani, have turned up the heat on the Haqqani insurgent network and Pakistan's ISI agency. While Rabbani's death was a major blow to efforts to bring a negotiated end to the Afghan conflict, peace talks will have to continue, for the alternative is war without end.
