Infrastructure Breakthrough Faces Barriers

The continuation of Indonesia's impressive economic growth will be highly dependent on whether the government can manage to push through bureaucratic reforms to allow for much-needed infrastructure investment. The so-called Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic Development may be a trigger for such reforms, but several barriers exist which could prevent Indonesia from reaching its growth potential in the medium term.
