He added that transnational crimes such as drug trafficking, terrorism, human trafficking, transnational corruption, cyber crime and arms trafficking have become highly organised and challenging for law enforcement authorities. Laos's commitment to fight transnational crimes by assuming leadership of the 31st ASEAN Chiefs of Police Conference this year suggests that the government is serious in maintaining the country's relevance within the ASEAN
