Export Sector To Face Japan-Related Setback

We see the Taiwanese economy being adversely affected by Japan's crisis to a certain degree, and we highlight downside risks to our export growth outlook. Indeed, Japan is one of Taiwan's key export markets. More importantly, Taiwanese companies are very reliant on Japan for the supply of core components for their exports, meaning their production activity could be potentially threatened by supply disruptions.
